3..2..1..Liftoff

The roof has popped (like a pop-top caravan).

To get more head space/clearance upstairs, we either has to lower the floor (nope) or lift the roof. The main ridge is going up about a metre, and a little off-centre.

There is now so much space and clearance. The whole of the rooms (and not just the centre third) will be useable space. Even the they-will-be-giants boys will be able to stand in the bathroom.

The section in the upper foreground doesn't have rafters because that will have a gable dormer instead.
